June Moss is a figurative artist, she has shown in gallery and museum shows in the US, Europe, and Mexico. Splitting her time between Manhattan and Eldred, her work has been cited in art and architectural publications; a drawing textbook, and periodicals. Humorous and psychologically evocative, she paints animated dialogues between the self and the other. She honed her craft in the East Village in the 80s. The prints and drawings are monochromatic, her paintings and collage tend toward saturated color. The gestural marks of her figures work in concert with a dense surface and a sense of satire.
