Youth Art Classes

11-Week Series | Starting October 1st

This fall, give your teen the opportunity to explore two exciting art forms in one engaging program—ending with a group exhibition to showcase their work!

Schedule:

• Weeks 1–5: Stained Glass (Oct 8 - Oct 29)
  Students will learn the fundamentals of stained glass, including cutting, foiling, and soldering. Projects include a stained glass panel and a night light.

• Weeks 6–11: Ceramics Hand-Building (Nov 5 - Dec 10)
  Students will discover clay techniques such as slab and coil construction. They’ll create a mug and a bowl, which will be professionally fired and glazed.

Time: 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm
The session concludes with a student exhibition on Dec 17, where families and friends can celebrate the creativity and accomplishments of the class.

All materials and firings are included.

Age: 11-18 years old, only up to 10 kids.

Because this program is partially funded by a grant from the NYS Office of Children and Family Services, through the Sullivan County Youth Bureau and supported by the Greater Barryville Chamber of Commerce we can offer it for such a great price.
