Born in New York City and now based in upstate New York, Steven Randazzo is a professional commercial photographer whose work blends precision, narrative, and an instinctive sense of place. While his commercial portfolio reflects a refined command of light, composition, and visual storytelling, his personal work thrives in the spontaneity of everyday life.

Drawn to the rhythms and raw character of urban environments, Randazzo’s personal photography captures fleeting moments that reveal quiet emotion and authenticity. Whether working on assignment or wandering with a camera in hand, Steven approaches each frame with the same intent—to find truth, texture, and a story worth telling.

Artist’s Statement:

This collection brings together years of image-making of personal work. While my professional practice has been rooted in commercial photography, my personal work has always returned to observation—quiet moments, fleeting gestures, and the subtle rhythms of everyday life.

These photographs are captured purely for myself. Outside of the structure of client work, I’ve always been drawn to unscripted moments, what often goes unnoticed. This retrospective reflects that balance, showing not just what I’ve done, but how I see.
