Mariya Myronova is a surrealist artist based in Cambridge, UK. Her work is rooted in social surrealism and shaped by observation, symbolism, and a deep desire to understand the complexities of the human mind and modern life. Each painting serves as a visual algorithm—an emotional and philosophical equation designed to decode patterns in thought, behavior, and society. These watercolors have been created under the Inner Child series. This is what Mariya said about this collection, “Even serious minds need a break. Inside me lives a little girl—sometimes happy, sometimes sad, sometimes mischievous and full of adventure. She likes to fly like an elephant and sunbathe like a hare.” This watercolor series is hers. These paintings are playful, gentle, and kind—straight from a happy universe. Because just like me and you, there is a small child in every adult!
