KAREN FLOOD

Karen paints with watercolor, gouache, acrylic and sometimes oil pastels on paper. She has been drawing for as long as she can remember way back when she used to steal her father’s drawings and copy them. She has a BFA from the School of Visual Arts.
She combines her ability to draw realistically with her background in abstraction and Sumi-e painting. She is obsessed with birds, the movements of birds, and the breath of nature.
